You can purchase any brand of clothing that you like, as long as it meets the requirements of a black dress with a black shirt or t-shirt. Keep in mind that all employees must wear a red shirt as part of their uniform, so make sure to factor this into your purchase.

Can you wear jeans at Ulta?

At Ulta, we always recommend our employees wear comfortable uniforms so that there is no interruption in work. However, you may be wondering – if I wear ripped jeans, allow? No, any types of repped jeans are not permitted at Ulta store. You can only wear black jeans. You can also wear black gabardine pants without holes.

However, there are some exceptions to this rule! If you have a special event or job interview and don't have anything else to wear, we will allow you to come in and purchase a pair of black dress pants. Just be sure to bring in your ID so that we can make a note on your account.

Is it possible to have colorful hair at Ulta?

You can definitely have colored hair! As it is not a protected trait or class (e.g., race, sex, age), there are no issues with having your locks in a bright hue. However, keep in mind that Ulta employees do have the right to set guidelines with respect to professional appearances.
